Let’s just say my Root Chakra had seen better days. Years of unresolved childhood and adolescent trauma left it pretty clogged up, but with the help of my incredible therapist, I’ve been doing the hard work to heal. This process has been equal parts emotional excavation and transformation, with plenty of deeply buried feelings surfacing along the way—and this painting captures all of that energy.
